Fr. Cajetan Menezes, Managing Trustee of Kripa Foundation Visits Kripa Foundation Anjuna, Goa


 Kripa Anjuna centre, Goa  hosted the visit of the Kripa Foundation Managing Trustee Fr. Cajetan D. Menezes on 20th September 2021. Fr. Cajetan took an input outdoors for patients on "Addiction & character defects" and interacted with staff and patients.

The Show Goes On.....The 39th Anniversary of Kripa Foundation celebrated through a Virtual Event for all Centres.



*Kripa Foundation 39th Foundation Day virtual event on 15th August 2020.*

15th August 2020 marked the 39th Foundation Day of Kripa. On this day staff of various Kripa Foundation centres participated in a joint  virtual  meeting over Google Meet. It was an interesting programme with audio - visual  presentations; songs, poetry and speeches all rapped into one hour. Fr. Cajetan D. Menezes, Managing Trustee gave the welcome address & spoke on reaching out to those afflicted and affected by substance abuse, people living with HIV/AIDS and the ethos of Kripa; the role of the staff, the quality and standards in maintaining patient care and taking Kripa to greater newer heights. Fr. Cajetan paid tribute to the COVID19 warriors, and mentioned the shocking loss of our medical director Dr. Hemant Patil last month, and expressed his sadness and gratitude on behalf of the organisation.

Mr. Abou Mere, Regional Director, Kripa North East India congratulated Fr. Joe H. Pereira, Founder Trustee for his vision and shouldering a huge task in providing services to drug users, alcoholics, and People afflicted by HIV AIDS for many years. 
He thanked Fr. Cajetan  Menezes for giving him a platform to present his views and opinions on, ‘The Challenge of Reaching out to Substance abusers during the COVID-19 Pandemic’ and commended his leadership skills that are evident in his systematic approach and able leadership that will help Kripa to grow to new heights with many innovative and scientific evidence programmes.

He highlighted the challenges faced by the organization in reaching out to the substance abusers  and spoke on various policies of the Narcotic Drugs Act 1985  to help curb the menace of Addiction. An important milestone of Kripa Anjuna centre, Goa completing 30 yrs was highlighted at the programme.

The programme concluded with a vote of Thanks by Shrikant and Serenity prayer by Fr. Cajetan D. Menezes. It was a first all India joint event for staff & centres.

Kripa Foundation Founder Trustee Fr. Joe H Pereira bestowed with the "Life Time Achievement Award" by Rotary International in Mumbai





On the 05th of July 2020, Rev. Fr. Joseph H. Pereira, the Founder of Kripa Foundation, graced the seminar on Addiction Prevention as an Honorable Panelists for Project Disconnect - PAN India Seminar on Drug De-addiction Seminar under the aegis of Rotary International. Rev. Fr. Joseph H. Pereira was extremely honored to be bestowed with the ‘Life Time Achievement Award’ presented by the legendary cricket icon Kapil Dev.
Rev. Fr. Joseph H. Pereira spoke on prevention and effective recovery of Addiction in India. He explained the common reasons for Addiction and the prognosis of severely affected. He illuminated the audience about the modalities of treatment in Rehabilitation centres.
The seminar accompanied 2500 Sr. College Students from various faculties across India and also Rotarian's from the Mumbai/ Thane area and Rotary Governors from all parts of our country.
Let’s join hands together to applaud Rev. Fr. Joseph H. Pereira, as he teams up to collaborate with Rotary International to continue to work towards its pledge of eradicating the Drug menace from India.
